I was just reading some article and ran across this. Now I know these comps are overpriced, but 8 processors, 16 cores, possibility to hold 13+ TB of data, and 128 GB of RAM has me salivating.

Yeah, they say it can handle 2k with "ease" and this is what they say about 4k.

Tests on 4k material show the promise of APEXX 8 for handling resolutions close to that of film.
