Hollywood Punch/Fight sound FX?

I know I'm gonna get told to go & record foley here, but here goes anyway.

Does anyone know of a sound fx library with those nice "Hollywood" punches on it, something not too over the top, kinda like in the matrix?

Hits are never, well rarely, done in Foley. Having done a LOT of hits the trick is
A) to layer the hit. The rule would be four tracks. A high sharp part, a solid mid hit, and a low "thump", and lastly a whoosh. Not all hits use all four parts but by layering you can get variety and taylor the git to exactly what you want.

B) if you have a bunch of hits, i.e. a fight, then make the hits work rhythmically and tonally. Each sequence should be a bit of a riff that "ends". So in short you need to score the punches.

As for getting sounds. You can find a bunch on SoundDogs or you can make your own. Whacking pillows with a bat works pretty well for low hits, Whacking various other things can do for most of the rest. Whooshes are easy and fun. You say "not too over the top" and then mention the MATRIX??? That is about as hyped "Hong Kong Action" as you get and definitely a four layer job.

Also your in England so if you have some local recordings you can often offer to trade sounds with people. You can only trade non commercial sounds (i.e. not sounds from a CD library) but that is what you really want anyway. The places to post that would be on the DUC, and the sound designers newsgroup. You can email me if you have questions.
