Hollywood look with colour grading

Hey everyone, I found out about a low priced colour grading plugin the other day, and thought I should share it.

The plugin is around $50 if I am correct, and a free trial version can be used with the addition of watermarks when you render the footage, until you purchase the software.

The option to use preset vales in the plugin is amazing, my favourite preset is the 'mojo war' preset, it really made my footage look like a Hollywood film.

I used sony vegas movie studio to edit the video.

Here are the test shots I used to test the plugin, what do you think?

Hi there!
Mojo is great if you simply want to use presets and maybe customize them, but I'd say that everything this plugin does can be achieved with the basic plugins found in Vegas: Hue/Saturation, Curves or Color Corrector and Levels. These three pluging combined, you can get pretty much every look you're after.
Personally I don't rely on presets as you have to tweak every scenes to match others (as the lighting can be slightly different from one to another) and usually I tend to color correct the footage to the best and appropriate look for the video I'm working on. So here again, presets aren't useful in my case.
But I reckon, for the price, it's simple and can change the look of your movie/short/video.

Yes I agree with you on that, you can definitely do everything mojo does with colour curves/ colour correction/ contrast etc... in sony vegas. I usually do light colour corrections manually using those tools, and I have no problems.

I like coming up with new content for my youtube channel and for my viewers to see, and I thought this video would be nice to share :)

And yes, for the price, they can give the video a nice look
