Hollywood Camera Work - DVXUSER discount

Hello All,

Thanks for all your kind words! Don't worry about the discount, it'll be up until well after the review.

I did think about a printed supplement while creating the course, but I dropped the idea because it seemed to lose all the advantages of being able to explain in 3D. However, I'll reconsider it, because I can see the usefulness to get a total overview (and remember to remember). If I find a way that works, I'll make sure everybody who bought previously gets a copy as well. But it could be a while because I'm very swamped on Visual Effects for Directors.

However, to "burn in", try turning on the DVDs without sound and have them playing the background. That's actually how I originally got the idea for the course. I wanted a video of everything that I (and everybody else) knows that I could play and play to hammer it into my brain so I wouldn't lose my memory on the set.

Thanks, guys.

Best,

Per Holmes

Hi Per, I hope you do end up with the supplement. I don't think it will detract from seeing it in action - depending on what you're aiming for. My own notes are really basic and serve to jog my memory. Standalone they'd mean little if you didn't know what they really related to in terms of movement. My notes are pertty much just chapter and topic names. That's enough to jog my memory on most things.

Anyway, excellent work!

Cheers
Aaron
