Im shooting a Christmas video, kinda like a documentary for my family. Is there anything special I should know? because like, it will be mostly in one room of the house, and under like morning through night light conditions. what would you suggest for settings, etc.

Any settings will do. Just make sure you have enough light. When ever I shoot home video family stuff, I usually have it at f5 with all the lights turned on in the house. That's if its at night. You should just experiment with the camera.

f6 is completely fine.. Remember that shooting in 24p mode requires more light. If you want f6 thats fine too. I see nothing wrong with any of the settings.
