We all know about Galaxy Repair on west coast but i was wondering if there is someone more local on the east coast (closer to NYC to be precise) to repair or maintain HMIs.

Galaxy and GFX, both on the west coast are the only ones I know.

I can recommend Center Stage Repair Services, Inc in Matawan, NJ. Even though the owner, Ed Pischel, was trained by Power Gems to do repairs on the east coast, he services all makes and models. His phone number is (201) 641-1717. His cell number is (848)459-8300.

Those companies aren't in the business of repairing lights.
If you have a rental house that you go to often for additional gear they might be able to help you out but I'm not aware of any companies that specialize in entertainment lighting repair around here. I get the sense that the demand just isn't here, I've hardly run into anyone that owns a large lighting package that isn't an actual rental house.

Hmmmm… I wonder why my lights were repaired and working after I got them back from Barbizon, then?
My local location has it's own repair/service shop.
