Other than bidding on a REALLY cool hat on eBay, what are some good 40 year old birthday gifts (for ME!!).

Things I'm thinking about:

Cannondale R-600 road bike
Couple more boxes of MQ's
I'd like some sort of editing desk for home... 53 inches long, but I have no idea where to even look.

Sorry the car is out of the question.

Any other thoughts?

Things I have... a mac, a mustang, 2 and 2/9ths kids, dvx. Remember, I'm am NOT a pro shooter. Don't need a matte box... though maybe a good wide angle might be nice.

Hmmm.

Well you get it.

It's the ... that has me worried!! 40 and still packing a 6 shooter! Might need the .snip..

I'm leaning toward the bike too. My squadron took me out (all on road bikes) with me on my Huffy... all I heard was laughing over my caughing in their dust!

Maybe I won't go for the cannondale and get something a bit A BIT less and get the MQs too.

Definitely, the bike. Get something good that will be constantly luring you to ride--and stay in shape. Tapes are like food, gas, and diapers--they don't count.

Bike it is... unless someone's got a REALLY good reason for something else.

A bike? Wow!...™ You really are hitting 40 *hard*, aren't you?  ::)

I'll be 41 next month. For my mid-life crisis, I'm buying Barry Green's best 16mm film camera.  ;)

Happy 40th, Captain!   :) :) :)
