Hitfilm software issue any ideas?

I love Hit Film plugins but I am having an issue. An update dialog box continuously pops up anytime I am using Adobe software. I can't stop it and during the course of a full day's work it will pop up like 20+ times.
If I click on it, it goes to an download screen that doesn't fix the problem.
Attached are screen shots showing the pop ups, the link destination, the number of processes etc.

Anyone have any ideas how to stop this? hitfilm popups.jpg hitfilm screens.jpg hit film page.jpg
 
Besides trying to reinstall anything or everything (which would entail downloading the latest versions), turn off your WiFi/internet while you work (if you can) and it should stop.

Or try to update everything manually in another way then through the prompt boxes.
