Hitfilm express for free (only until tomorrow)

I have their ultimate version and I really like it (even though my computer can hardly run it). Being for free, some people may want to give it a try.

I downloaded their freebie to try it out and review. It seems like it would be a good starter package for say a high school student just getting into film. Except that I find it struggles with DSLR footage. Even without any effects applied, I can't get real time playback on my 2013 i5 laptop. Adobe CC runs great and plays the same footage perfectly. HitFilm really needs to figure this out if they want to grab a piece of the market.
