I usually just post in the screenwriting section, so I'm switching it up. On Fridays I post an analysis of a Hitchcock film with lessons for screenwriters and directors. 4/17 I've posted Hitch's favorite of his films, SHADOW OF A DOUBT about small time life in America.

The great thing about Hitchcock movies is that they were often experimental and did wild insane things which no other director would do until around now. Though this film doesn't have an experiment (I've collected all of those into a book and taken them off my blog), it does have some great lessons on characters and visually showing similarities and differences between characters.
