I have been considering starting a small modeling agency or division within my current company. I often shoot projects like car shows and music videos where models are needed. I have received requests from a few girls already now that are showing some interest. My main focus is to shoot, produce and edit various projects and having the models would only be a bonus.
Is there anything that I need to watch out for other than stuff like make sure the girls are of legal age. Do I have to have them sign contracts? I think I do have to get them to sign a talent release but what about contracts? Then pay would be based on a percentage of the budget I am guessing per project?
Like I said, this is something that I am considering but havent really done much research until now. I would rather have my own girls to deal with than having to call a modeling agency they have to pay their fees which could get costly. Alot of girls these days just want some sort of exposure to get their careers started.
These girls would be used for print work and fashion shows as well if I can get this started in the right way.
