Well, higher speed, that is. And it's actually cheaper than what I was paying for dial-up. Before, my phoneline an Internet were costing $25 and I could only stay on 3 hours before getting knocked off. Now it's costing me $19 for ADSL 512kb and the phoneline, plus it's a 24 hour connection!!! YEA BABY!!!

Hate to say it, but you might be seeing more of me around now that I can actually download all of your videos. First up, disjecta's latest.

I'm so happy, ....I must go, (sniff) ....there's something in my eye. :cry:

Nice! I recently got broadband too. Never going back if I have anything to say about it. And you got a sweet price. I'm paying more than that for a connection at half the speed.

man my brother that lives in "the expensive" part of town in Edmonton only got fed ADSL last year. technology works funny i guess. When i was in West Africa a few months ago nobody had running water but everyone had cell phones.

Don't I know it . . . someone from Malawi keeps calling my cell phone and no matter what, the guy can't figure out that he's got the wrong number. Whatever I say he just hangs up. If I don't answer, he calls over and over and over.

Capt - I think once every 5 minutes is a good enough refresh rate. Anything quicker and I'd get the strange feeling people were watching me. :)
