HIghest DVD Playback Settings!

hey i made my Short 24 ins long, i used premiere 2.0 to export to MPEG DVD then used to Encore 2.0 to burn to dvd.
my question is that the final dvd is oonly like 1.4 gb large, how can i use premiere to creat a larger thus better quality file for output...

please post your settings thanks
 
Most likely, you can't.

All you can do for the MPEG is try compressing at a constant bitrate, and set that bitrate as high as possible. The video must be compressed, DVD's are always compressed.
