Highend systems: Color Pros

My background is primarily live music production etc, etc. These lights are outstanding (seen them used often, never got my hands on one).

Basically, you can mix any color you want. Questions...

(1) Has anyone used these for video before?

(2) Does the output seem adequate (I can't imagine that it isn't)?

This would be outstanding in terms of control i.e. set targets, mix your light.

Re: Highend systems: Color Pros

I've never seen one used on a video production, but it looks pretty cool. It looks like an ellipsoidal with adjustable dichroic filters to color the light. It's a hard edged light, but it would be great for throwing a spot or a wash of color for some theatrical effects. It looks expensive though.

Re: Highend systems: Color Pros

I've seen 'banged up' used ColorPros for $600.00, the new ones are around $1,850.00 MSRP (USD), retail around $1,500.00. They are trully sick though, 'infinite' color mixing, shaping, etc.
