High School soccer quote

I was contacted by a high school soccer booster club the other day. Im relatively new to sports videography. Im looking for some assistance in quoting out a price for this job. It would be 4 soccer games. JV and Varsity. 25-32 parents would be purchasing. It would be a highlight reel of their season. For the Varsity DVD, it would also include 9 seniors being interviewed. Any thoughts on pricing this out? I dont want to come in too low, but at the same time, I dont want to be overpriced and lose the job. I'm more concerned with putting my work out there right now and getting exposure. Thanks.

I would suggest doing as many pre-orders as possible so you at least walk away with some guaranteed money. I'd also suggest offering special deals for pre-orders only to increase your pre-order sales (ie. $50 per DVD or 2 for $75 or 3 for $100 and limit the deal to each household, so a bunch of moms in the neighborhood don't get together and milk away your profits by going in on the 3-for-100 deal.)

Don't sell yourself short. Parents will pay big bucks for "priceless, permanent memories" of their kids. I'd focus on selling the families of the 9 seniors the hardest and offer them something extra. They're going to drop a couple grand on senior pictures, graduation collectables, open houses, etc.

The money you make on this project will be a direct result of how well you sell your service and product. Good luck and learn as much as you can throughout the process!
