High Production Value TV

Hi,
I have a question that I've been able to find surprisingly little information about on the web. I've been wondering what single camera TV productions are using for their shows. I'm assuming it's video but it's not a a 35mm sensor camera like the cineAlta is it?

I'm thinking primarily of the HBO shows like six feet under, the Sopranos, etc, but also shows like Heroes, Law and Order, etc.

Read the trades. It is typically Viper, Genesis, SI 2-k for most of the shows shooting HD but the majority still are shot on 35mm (24, Prison Break and a few others I shoot on). It is slowly evolving but you would be amazed at how many still shoot film.

35mm on most single-camera hour shows. Oh, but PD already said that! Anyway... Heroes, Numbers, CSI, House M.D. and most of the rest are S35 3-perf and finish to 1.78:1 / HDTV aspect ratio via HDCamSR or other like mastering format.
