High power LED floods

...and that's supposed to show how good they are? Horrible light, and the comparison to a 1K seems a bit subjective. Any bright light in a dark room looks bright. I suspect pointing the camera that close, to the front of a 1K tungsten wouldn't have showed anything except a bright white splodge. The LED is cheap and lights up. usable light for video is a bit less certain.!
 
I have to agree with Paul. The test is indeed very poorly executed.

OTOS this IS an open faced broad light, so we have to see to what it does compare.

To start with this is a LED element I did not know (bridgelux), and in this case they are using two of them.

The head also seems very heavy, at 23lbs, which more or less denies one LED light head advantage: light weight.

So I wonder what are the advantages.
