High Hats...

Who sells Hi Hats? If you don't know what it is, it is a small support stand that has a tripod head on it for getting really low shots or could be used on a table or other flat surfaces.

Re: High Hats...

Saw them at B&H a couple of weeks ago for $160 (75mm bowl), and today at Film/Video in Denver (same price for the 75mm bowl.)

Re: High Hats...

You could just get a really really little tripod. I've got one meant for still cameras, it works great, under $30.

Re: High Hats...

How do you level that TV tray... with sugar packets under the legs? ;D

Cool website, Barry. :)

Re: High Hats...

You can get them from Birns and Sawyer or Alan Gordon in LA. It kinda depends on what head you will use and what you're going to mount it on; dolly, hoodmount or ???

Re: High Hats...

milling isnt a problem.. you just use a hole cutter then a large scoop router but to round out the edges.. works like a charm.
