hi res snapshots from advhc files

i wanted to create a high def photo, image, snapshot from advhc cineform file. captured with save into a jpeg and it is a terrible resolution, viewable about 1x1.5 inches. cannot blow it up because of pixelation. so how do a get a better resolution stilll image that looks as good as the video in size? bill

Set Preview settings to Full Size + Best, deinterlace method to Interpolate, save as PNG
(or use something like Vegasaur Snapshots )

can you obtain a snapshot that looks as good as a 26 inch monitor view of the video itself?

if you're working on a Mac, Shift+Command+4 might work.
