Hi guys! I am a long time lurker here, I simply love this forum, so why not sign up and contribute?
I'm currently a small-time DOP, a director for my own shows, and I do some commercials and events.
I enjoy cinematography, films, asian drama (Korean/Japanese/ Hong Kong), documentaries and recently Gordon Ramsay shows.
I am set to enroll in a film school in my country, and I hope to know tons of people there!
I don't have a lot of friends that love cinematography, and aside from the guy who is a salesperson in a camera shop (He was a big time retired cameraman), I have no other people to really talk to about this topic at the moment. I enjoy the debates here!
Prior to doing videos, I was a photographer and software programmer and I simply love new gadgets and software, and recently, the art of grading colors.
My current dillema is the Black Magic Design Camera, I am not sure if i should get the BMCC or the BMPC4K, which now takes up tons of interests and constantly hounding infomation on it. I love to have both instead, but I am not a very big shooter yet, just extremely keen to upgrade from a DSLR!
I hope to meet like minded people here!
