Hi-Hat for iFootage Shark Slider? mounting a ball-level head

I'm trying to mount a 75mm ball head (Sachtler 7FSB-6) onto an iFootage Shark Slider? Any suggestions or recommendations for a hi-hat that will accommodate this?

I've got a Kessler Cineslider and their hi hat. It looks like it will work with your slider as well. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/co...&c3api=1876,{creative},{keyword}&Q=&A=details

That's 100mm, he's looking for 75mm. I have the Manfrotto adapter and it's fine with my FSB-6 on a slider but you can't level at all, the slider itself has to be completely level which isn't so bad for most shots but it might be nice to have the option and have a hi-hat like that that could be used on the ground and still level the camera. Looks like there are a few other options these days:

Yes he's looking for 75mm and there is a 75mm adapter ring for that bowl. But without a short paddle handle we're SOL. I thought Sachtler made a shorty but I can't find it anywhere now.

Until a solution comes along to use the FSB4/6 heads, I have been using a Manfrotto flat base head with Manfrotto 75mm ball adapter on a Kessler 100mm high hat w/75mm adapter ring. The Manfrotto head is certainly inferior to the FSB6. The tightening handle (knob) will not work on the FSB since it is a slightly smaller sized thread, and metric.

This looks like something you could get at your local hardware store for $1. Maybe bring in your head and see what fits?

ha ha perfect... But wouldn't I also need that half-circle thing to cover the bottom of the half bowl? Sorry for the terrible description.

I'm pretty sure that part came with the Kessler hi hat. Take a look at their documentation. They call it a ball mount washer. From the Cineslider manual:
"Locate your 100mm (or 75mm) ball mount tripod head, ball mount washer, and 3/8” threaded knob." You can see it in this instruction sheet:

I found a tightening knob that fits the FSB-6 stud. Problem is that the stud is not long enough to get through the "washer" with enough length to screw the knob on. Needs to be at least a quarter inch longer, preferably an inch longer. Sachtler sells an adapter kit that includes a longer stud. If the thread pitch is correct, than that should work. Kit looks to be about $80.

Kit arrived today. If you get the Kessler High Hat and the Sachtler Adapter Kit FSB / 75 on Hot Pod (Model Number S2024-1500), you'll be all set. The tightening knob and "clamping washer" are included with the High Hat, along with 4 smaller knobbed studs for attaching high hat to CineSlider. This adapter kit cost me $88.00 at Adorama and they had it in stock. The replacement stud is 3/4" longer than the original and is easy to swap out with the included wrench. I checked how much adjustment range I got with this setup and it looks to be about 16 degrees from centered/level position. That's pretty good in my opinion. This isn't some hokey setup, it all feels nice and solid. Okay, some more photos.

I have the Manfrotto 438 ball adapter as well, and would agree that it is a viable option. You will reduce the overall height of your setup by about 1 and 3/4" (10 3/4" height for the High Hat and 9" height with the 438). Last photo is of that adapter. Just remove the center stud from the FSB-6 and screw the head onto the stud on the 438. There is a standard 3/8" female threaded insert in the bottom of the 438. Adjustment range on the 438 is +/- 12 degrees.
