Hey, am I the only one who hears HGTV coming from a TV in the other room constantly, often followed by a cute little woman saying, "We need to go to Home Depot today"? Then comes the uncomfortable moment of realization: ****, here we go. What now.
Score big points with your lady by watching HGTV with her, though. Come right down to it, those shows are mostly about design, and a big part of film is about design, colors, and aesthetics.
You can learn something, and I'll bet you'll see a ton of DVX footage as well. I know for a fact that the various Debbie Travis shows contrast their main video roll with 24P from a DVX.
