Really? How does iTunes convert them?

itunes>preferences>advanced>importing> then change to .wav then go back in itunes, find the song you want to convert and then go to advanced>convert song to .wav. after you're done make sure you go back and change you preferences back to .mp3 or whatever you use or next time you import a cd you file sizes are gonna be huge

You need QT Pro to do it in Quicktime. As a free program, like the guys said, iTunes.
