I tried googling...I didn't get anywhere.

My question is whats the best possible way in FC to convert 24p to 25?

I'm mixing 24/25 together. I didn't want to but I have no choice.

Well I never done it but can't Cinema Tools conform it to 25fps? Try it. Also the other way you could do it would be to use the Nattress Plugins. were you would take the NTSC to PAL or maybe you edit the convert your 25 into 24 and then once it is all edited take the whole thing back to 25 but then I don't know what the quilty loss will be. So Try a couple things I know how much of a pain different frame rates can be.
 
I have the latest FCP and under FILE>Media Manager there is an option to recompress DV PAL 48KHZ 24 @ 25. Shouldnt this do it?
 
or if you do not want to tie up FCP you can use compressor! then you can still do other work in the mean time.
