Alright, So I click on AE and the opening screen comes up and starts loading the settings, then once it sais: Loading user interface, it just freezes and doesnt load up AE. Please help!

Hey, not sure if you're using a PC or Mac, but you need to go into the AE library and trash your user settings and preferences. AE will lose all of your custom workspaces, but will regenerate new default ones and your program will start up fine. Your user settings are corrupt, so AE hangs when it tries to load them.

I'm using PC, and how do I get to my AE library and preferences? Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to all the technical stuff.

Please help someone. I'm going to be editing in a film festival in a few days and I need AE to work!
program files -> adobe-> After effects-> ect...
if your using a licesnsed copy you caould just call adobe supprt and they will walk you through it, or you can vist adobe.com and use the knowledge base to search for how step by step instructions on how to fix it real quick.
