I need to make a trailer for a book I read for a project. It was "The Complete Zombie Survival Guide." So for this trailer, I want to take clips from various zombie flicks and throw some text in, etc... Anyone have a way to get these onto my MacBook to edit in Final Cut? Some one said Handbrake wouldn't work...

Thanks a lot, Jack

You mean ripping them from a DVD? I don't know on a mac. There was also a zombie fest we had here, maybe people can donate a scene or two.

BLAM!

Just out of curiosity, would this still be iliegal if it's for a student project? I remember that when I was in school, we were aloud to use photo's, etc off of the web, but only because we were students and the copywrite laws were different. The teacher's DID stress that out in the "real world" we would not be able to use them.

i dont think that its the copy right laws, i think its just that you arent using it for commercial purposes so the school doesnt care.
