After a couple of failed attempts to get a 25min interview translated from Yemba to English would anybody have a solution to get this done properly? Need a transcript in Yemba with english characters and the equivalent translation in English for a recent documentary piece. Most of the work has been done just need it reviewed and corrected.

I may be able to help you, I have a Professor in Florida that is from Cameroon. We are working together to develop a media / journalism program for his students. I am apart of the develop team and film maker who has a close relationship with him.

What I would like is more information on your project and the content, give me more information and I will contact him after we figure out if it is something that would interest him.

Hi PVL2, this is a project that's half documentary half poetry-film (poetry-film is a newish genre and comes in all shapes. Festivals like Zebra feature this kind of work).

Basic idea is that I started off selecting a number of poems from a collection by a poet who funded the project and attached each poem to real characters. hence the docu part, poetry comes narrated at certain intervals.

I found somebody to help me with the translation here but i would appreciate if your professor would proofread the subtitling once its edited.

Also PVL2 let me know if yemba is the language of your professor, Cameroon has over 200 different languages going.

EDIT: Done with the cut, runs about 7min in yemba, PVL2 got any news?
