I have been using vegas for a while for all my amateur work but recently picked up adobe after effects because it looked awesome. Now my question is with workflow. Lets say I want to make a short 5 min film and have a bunch of unclipped, unedited shots. Should I make the cuts I want sony vegas, render them, then import each separately into after effects to color grade and effect? Or should I import the entire raw clip into after effects, clip it , effect it, then put it all together in vegas? Does anyone have any tips or can you share the way you would do it. Thanks
