I am doing a documentary for a band called the Dropkick Murphys and their involvement with the Red Sox this year. I need royalty free sound effect cds. I am looking for baseball bat cracks hitting the ball, crowds cheering, and things that go along with baseball. I don't want cheesy stuff. I don't know wheere to look for good cds. I want to buy some cds. Can someone point me in the right direction?

This is as good as it gets:
http://www.sound-ideas.com/11000.html
http://www.hollywoodedge.com/the_acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=9&ObjectGroup_ID=2&Product_ID=723&CatID=3
Since you only need Baseball and crowd FX for now, I would recommend checking out: http://www.sonomic.com/
Sonomic offers "Library cards" that give you the chance to pick the FX you want for a flat rate. They carry the sound effects from the libraries mentioned above. You can get good deal on Sonomic Library cards here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=details_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=254682&is=REG
Hope this helps.

I saw a free out door Dropkick Murphys show, and they had some sound problems, so some morons decided to jump one of the sound guys as he was running to the stage to check a speaker or something. This was Madison WI, not really know for violence... except on Halloween...
