I want to know if anyone out there is willing to write a horror script that I have in mind. I would love to start filming in Houston, Texas this late summer, but I can't start unless I have a great script. I'm willing to pay you for your services and you will get credit, and there will be a contract in place to protect us both. The pay will not be alot b/c i'm a student, but I will pay you as much as I can. If you are close to the Houston area that would be great b/c we could meet and look at notes!

What kind of rate schedule are you talking about, here? Back end? Points or royalties? Straight rights?
At a producing level, making a short has about as much in common with making a feature, as riding a bicycle does with banging a porpoise. Deciding which you actually want to do, before you progress to a screenplay, would probably make things a lot easier for you.
