I have premiere 2.0 and im maknig a short film on isaac newton... i was wondering how you zoom into a pic like on the history channel...also rolling Credits? also if anyone has any other kewl things on premiere for this project it would greatly appreicated. THANKS ALOT!!

To zoom in...with your clip selected, under the effects control you'll see motion. From there you can increase or decrease the scale of the clip. Set a keyframe at the beginning of the clip, with the scale at 100, then advance the clip forward a few seconds, and set a new keyframe with the scale set at 150. Of course these numbers are just examples. You can also click on the keyframes and select "ease in" and "ease out" for smoother transition from zooming to a static shot.

Rolling Text...create your new text, in the upper left side of the text editor you'll see "Roll/crawl option." Select roll, you can start it off the screen and have it end off the screen. Just drag the text along your timeline for however long you want it to roll. It's pretty simple and you shouldn't have much problem messing around until you get the look you want.

still having trouble...i set the keyframe at the end and front of the pic but nothing happens...can u go through it step by step...i cannot htank you enough...

PPRo is OK at the "Ken Burns effect" if you have the Production suite it would be much better to us After Effects or if you have a lot of shots to do you might want to check out Canopus Imaginate.

The keyframes in PPro are a bit missleading, once you've clicked on the stop watch to set a keyframe, if you move the CTI and click the stop watch again you are actually turning the keyframes off. Once you've clicked on the stop watch, advance the CTI and then adjust the parameter your keyframing, a keyframe is automatically set. If you want to set a keyframe manually you simply click on the small button between the small arrows that advance you between keyframes.

Hope this makes sense...
