Help with Netflix problem....

I was watching Dexter (Instant Watch) for the last few days. Today, after finishing Season 2 Episode 1, all the "instant watch" links for Dexter disappeared from Netflix. Did they disappear in your account too, or is it just a problem with my account? How can this happen....?

I looked up "Dexter" on my Netflix account and it looks like Netflix has made it available on DVD or Blu Ray only. The streaming service is a pretty fickle thing and I have noticed that some of the more popular stuff is given a very short window for streaming sometimes. Looks like you are going to have to have the next episodes mailed to you.

The contract expired for Showtime programs that are active. Shows that have been cancelled should still be available, though.

That really sucks. I just called them and they confirmed that their contract to stream the show run out. They said that they might re-new it again in the near future. Just started with season 2, and now I have to wait for the DVDs to arrive :(

Yep... Contract ran out... I noticed 3 days ago that it "was available till July 1st"... and I was on Ep. 3 of season 1....

The studios and networks are so behind the times. They panic at every new technology. They'll eventually figure it out.

would be a nice feature for them to add... "this content is expiring from instant watch in x days. Watch Now, before it's too late!" :)

They do list an end date for many movies that I have in my watch instantly queue. If you are setting up a series or movies you may want to save them to your queue and play them from their. If they update an end date, it should show up their.
