So I exported my videos to HTML 5 (webm, ogg, mp4) and gave them to the web guy to add to the site. When I play them back on the website the videos look like they're skipping frames -- just does not look normel. When i play back the origonal HTML files (the files NOT hosted on the web -- from my hard drive) they look fine. I'm wondering if the web guy changed the video dimension on his end would that be the cause? I gave him 512x288. anyone else run into this type of problem?

Just wondering If i could give him a solution. I guess he thinks they look normal, but they don't.

If you would like to take the time to see you can log-in if you would like. I made a dummy account.

(note: the videos i'm referring to are not the ones you 1st see in the link below - - you have to actually login)

Taking a look at the .OGG file that the website is sending to my web browser, it looks like your Theora video encoding is all messed up.

Your video is encoded as 720 HD using a data-rate of only 768 Kbps, which is way too low for 720 HD. What app did you use to encode the video with ?

MediaInfo screen for your .OGG file

I see that the streaming data rate from your video's server is really low, like ~500B/s. That's likely too slow for smooth playback of a 1280x720 video at 29.97 fps (yes it seems he changed your frame dimensions, at least based on the downloaded file out of the browser).

Edit: OK what he said ^^^^^
