Okay, so, after not winning an award ( but being a finalist) at this years Star Wars Fan Film Festival ( It's not as geeky as it sounds, i swear), I am out for revenge. In this new film, We will be trying to recreate some of the classic scenes from A New Hope. The problem is, since we don't have the money for perfect locations/sets, we need to find a way to recreate these scenes. Here is a list of the scenes.
1. The luke skywalker staring at the two suns scene. How should we go about doing this? We were thinking green screen, but then when "luke" on the sand would look fake. Any ideas? ( also, we have no way of getting sand...we are in southern illinois)
2. The Cantina. This one is more of how to make it look Cantina esque in post. What do you guys recomend? We have a nice little coffee shop, that will let us film there, and also a bar. Keep in mind that i don't want to recreate the cantina set, just the feel. Make it look good enough that,since all the shots in this scene are fairly close up, you can still tell it's the cantina.
