help with grainy footage

i was on a 3 camera shoot this past weekend and when setting up the cameras, one camera had the gain set to high. this wasn't noticed til the second day of shooting and the footage doesn't match due to the graininess. is there any way to clean this up in fcp6 or is there any software that will work with it to clean it up. it was the b camera but covered about 60 percent of the shots.
this is a nightmare for the director and i'm hoping to have good news for him soon.
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

thanks

Not the easiest thing to do. After Effects has a 'remove grain' option and there are other options out there in the wild too. Most involve some sort of micro-blur technique.

Google for removing grain from digital video and you'll see techniques and options.

None are as good as not making that mistake (gah, I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me). I take a cue from my pilot friends... CHECK LISTS CHECK LISTS CHECK LISTS!!!
