I shot a project on the HVX200 using the CitiDiskHD drive (big mistake) and as a result the clips were captured in 29.97 using a 2:2:2:4 pulldown. I've edited everything in a 29.97 timeline but need to convert it to 24fps for the output.
Has anyone dealt with this or know how to do this conversion with this weird cadence? I've tried within FCP, Compressor, Cinema Tools, and After Effects and nothing seems to work consistently since the cadence varies from shot to shot. I'm up against a huge deadline and need to figure this out ASAP, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
