Help with firewire regarding switch to vegas

Well, I'm now switching threads from the FCP to the Vegas as I got Vegas 5.0 a day or two ago. Everything works great except one thing...I have my firewire drive from when I was using FCP on a Mac and I was wondering if I'll be able to use it on the PC? I've gotten a firewire card for the PC and the camera runs great through it. I'm able to capture to my hard drive, but the PC isn't detecting the firewire external drive for some reason. Any suggestions? Also, a quick Vegas question...I've read about Magic Bullet a lot. Is this something native to Vegas or is this something extra?
Thanks for any help
Nathan

OK, figured out about Magic Bullet. I still need some help with my firewire situation though.
Thanks

You'll have to reformat your external HD for use with Windows. Reformat it to NTFS in the Disk Manager.

Right-click on "My Computer" and select "Manage" from the drop-down. Then go to the Disk Manager.
