Im having problems differentiating the difference between these two fast motion type of shots and the method and mechanics in each of them.
type/example one.
Is when the camera is tracking extremely fast and clearly is speeded up for effect,Im guessing this is done either in camera or post and using less frames per second.The Evil dead series is a good example of this method.
type/example two.
When the camera is tracking very slowly but the action within the frame is in fast motion.A good example here is the film requiem for a dream,Im not sure how this is done.
I would truly appreciate some clarification here on the difference in techniques between the two
