hi - i shot hdv on a mini dv tape from a canon xh-a1 and when i capture my footage, the capture begins immediately, bypassing that little window that ordinarily pops up that should allow me to adjust my settings.
the reason this is a problem is because the audio i have been capturing is out of sync with the video, the visuals, and i thought maybe that adjusting the capture settings would allow me to fix this? i've never worked with hd before and i seem to suddenly be in over my head. if anyone has any suggestions about adjusting the capture settings or what else might be causing the audio to go out of sync, i'd HUGELY appreciate it.
