Hi!
I have a Canon XH A1s with standard battery and I'm trying to set it up with the Merlin. I've checked the cookbook and tried one of the suggested configuration (they all seem very similar). But I don't even get close to a balanced setup. The camera just falls back instantly. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? This should be a problem of major tuning and not fine tuning, so probably the weights or the arc size?
My setting:
arc size - 13.5" (34.3 cm) measured from the top of the stage to the lowest weight (should I measure just to the beginning of the weight?)
Front weights - 1 finish
Lower weights - 1 start, 5 mid, 1 finish
Z - 4 threads showing above the guide ring
Position in plate - I
Stage Mark - -1
Can anyone help me out?
