Help with Anamorphic

OK - I landed a big project.. Before I shoot this thing I need some help with a few things.

1. I shoot with my dvx-a
2. I want to shoot 24p 16:9
3. I use Premiere as NLE 1.5 Pro
4. I want to create a DVD widescreen..
5. I want to create a 600 x 270 full screen .mov like Dempsy.

Can someone baby step me through this???

Especially the Anamorpic and 600 x 270..

This is my first 16:9

so is your final delivery meant for the internet or computer playback or are you making DVDs??? because 600x270 isn't 16x9. take a number like 50 and multiply it by 16x9 and you get 800x450. so i don't know how you're getting 600x270. if 600 was 16 then the 9 would be 337.5. now i can't say this for premiere 1.5, but i know in version 6.5. you capture and edit in a widescreen project. when finished you export and you can leave it as 720x480 and then open a standard project and import that file. right click and select "maintain aspect ratio." this will give you the letterbox format. from there export whatever size you want. (just keep your 4:3 aspect)
