Help with a Sound Effect?

[Fidelio]

Hello,

I remember using this audio effect to similate the tinny sound of a voice coming from a telephone receiver or the sound of music coming from tinny earbuds, but I don't remember which audio effect it was called.

Can someone tell me what this effect is?

It's called EQ. Chop out some of the high and low ends.

if you got something nice like Audition the FFT Filter works magic lots of presets for stuff like that too

Just EQ it. Remove the highs and lows and boost the mids.

Thanks for the quick reply, guys. I will try EQ and see how well it works and then check back in with you guys. And oh, I'm just using the standard options in Premiere Pro, so if there's a more specific preset than just EQ that you might recommend otherwise, please do let me know.

Thanks a bunch.
