Hey my dvxuser friends! I am working on an awesome film this summer called Smuggler's Ransom (you can go to the website with the link in my sig). Anyway, I am in need of using a open top Jeep. It needs to be a bit older, since its an 80's period piece, but I need that Jeep. I'm shooting the film in Santa Clarita, which is about 30 min. from Hollywood/LA. Please let me know if you have a jeep we could borrow for one shot. Thanks!

i know people who have jeeps are way into like clubs for jeeps and stuff like that, perhaps check if there is a jeep owners club in the LA area, which i bet there is.

Doesn't TC own a Jeep? And didn't Mr. Hudson (though that's not much help to you now). But you might ask them if they know who else has one.

I don't know if this would work or not, but you may be able to check the local paper or craiglist and see if anyone has one for sale. Then call them and ask them if they would be interested in renting it out for a few days while it is on sale. Or possibly a used car lot may let you use one in return for a promotional spot or credit.
