Hi I've Got a Question...

I Have a Sigma 30mm HSM Nikon Mount... I would like to use it a 35mm Adapter like others have done with DLSR lenses.

But i can't seem to "LOCK" the F-Stop with my DSLR Camera like others are doing.

Everytime I Remove the lense.. it Re-Sets

Its been Done Before... http://vimeo.com/915322

Thanks in Advance.

I thought i read it here in one of the threads that setting the aperture using a dslr camera then removing it for use in an adapter, works only for certain canon eos lenses.

I could be wrong, but I'm certain it was discussed here, and I'm also kinda certain it was for canons not nikon mount lenses.

That link you posted didnt say the guy was controlling the aperture, he probably jammed it in with a piece of cardboard or plastic at full open.

Well... I can give you a tip but it's not going to be any good for you anyway because your prime was designed for digital SLR cameras featuring APS-C size image sensor.

Nonetehless, here it goes:

1 - Set the aperture you want to use on your Nikon camera
2 - Press the DOF button
3 - Press the mount button without releasing the DOF button
4 - Take the lens out of your camera body and attach it to your 35mm adapter

Hope that helps
