Help - video in banner?

Not sure where to place this? Anyway on my website I would like to have some film footage playing in the banner on my home page. I talked to the website host and they said that I would need to get it into Flash and from there I would get my codes to put it on my website. I download Flash but still having problems figuring out how to get the codes to do this. Has anyone put in a video on their website banner? I have seen one person do it.

It's been a long time since I've done it but it shouldn't be too hard with Flash. I only used Flash for a few weeks but I found a lot of tutorials for it.

I think I converted a video to an image sequence than used Image Ready to make a gif. I think in the export settings you can export for web and it creates a seperate html file with the embed code in it along with a flash .flv file. It's been quite awhile though. If you don't have Image Ready I know Flash can also imbed video. It's pretty easy as I remember doing it, sort of, haha.

Check for tutorials. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I no longer have those programs so that's all I can offer.
