I'm running into a really annoying problem with Final Cut. I did a project a few months back with the Canon 7D and recorded separate audio to the Zoom H4N. I synced video with audio using the Merge Clips feature. Everything worked fine.
Since then the media has been transferred to a different drive. Today I opened the project and, as expected, all the media was offline. I was able to relink all the media except the merged clips, which is all the crucial media used in my timeline.
Any idea of how I can get my merged clips back online?
