Help to identify atomos recorder

[basil_555]

Hello,
I was offered to buy an Atomos recorder. But the seller is not sure which model is this. He says it is Shogun, but not 4K. Can it be so? I thought that all Shogun recorders support 4K. On the other hand this particular recorder doesn't have "4K" written in the lower right corner. All the photos of the Atomos Shogun which I found on the Internet have that mark. So could you please help me identify which model of the recorder is this? Thanks!

It's the very first one they ever made from 2014. So fresh back then that it was almost a prototype as the ones that started shipping later had the "4K" in the corner.

Plus they also kept improving them with the Flame versions, and eventually Inferno.

Here's the original one below with no "4K" in the corner.

It's been too long to remember but it might need a FW update to support 4K. No 4K/60p.

I recommend looking for one of their newer models unless the one above is like $100 or something.

Take a look at how inexpensive new models are. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for this.
