Help! Strange Vegas Pro issue...

Okay, admittedly this is a minor irritation. If I can't get it sorted out, it's no biggie.

I'm running Vegas Pro 8.0c. (I know....it's a dinosaur.) For some reason, when I go to delete a clip from the timeline, it makes me delete the audio and video tracks separately. It used to delete both at once.

When I pull a clip from the trimmer to the timeline, it brings both audio and video tracks together. If I move or resize one, it moves or resizes both just as it should. It's only when I delete them that they're treated like separate items.

This has only recently begun happening, so I'm sure I've clicked something or hit some keyboard combo that turned something on or off, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Any ideas?

You might have the "ignore event grouping" button selected. The icon looks like an unlocked pad lock. Keyboard shortcut to toggle it on/off is cntrl+shift+u.

Try looking here: Options > Preferences > Editing Tab > Make sure "Cut Copy and Delete grouped events" is checked.

Just another option.
