HELP Sorenson Squeeze Cant finish 1080i WMV Stream!

Hi,

Im creating corporate videostreams in a 1080i window, consisting of a small window for the speaker, and a large window for the power point slides (jpegs now)

I export the quicktime reference, native dimensions, Avid Codec, drag into Sorenson squeeze 4.0, tell it to do a 1Mbps streaming file at 960x540 dimensions. (The company wants to view at full screen res.)

Sorenson always has an error once it finishes. Is WMV 9 capable of streaming a quicktime ref. from a 1080i timeline> ?

Since it is Sorenson 4.0, It requires Quicktime 6.

Any advice is appreciated since project is due Wednesday:badputer:

If you have a PC, you can export AVI refrence files, and use the free Windows Media 9 encoder program. That is solid, but doesn't support mpeg or Quicktime files.
 
Alex, thanks, I didn't know I can do an AVI ref. I will try that, as far as the free WMV 9 encoder program, where do I get that?

I successfully exported a WMV from Avid - looks good, then drug it into sorenson and told it to do a 1Mbps streaming WMV with it - we'll see if it worked when I get back to the computer this evening. If not I'll try the AVI ref
