Hi, I've been editing and adding the final touches of sound and video to my project and certain things need rendering but when I go to render (and it used to work just fine) It says there is not enough free space....
so it directs me to "render manager" and tells me to select something to delete...but everything seems so important, and there is only a couple of things I am able to select, both called "movie 1" or something.
..My question is, has anyone used render manager before and is it okay to delte these files that seem to be the movie itself? Or do you know any tactics to free up space?
I mkovied all my "render files" and "Capture scratch" files from my HDrive onlto an external HD, and that freed up some of my computer space...but not whatever this "disk space" FCP is talking about.
finally, I deleted all clips I'm not using in the movie, and have only about 2 hours worth of fottage....that shouldn't be a problem . and I have 2 Gig of memory on my computer.
the footage is not HD.
